Welcome to the Young Working Boaters website, we are a new group of historic narrowboat enthusiasts who have decided to join together to create a society to try and promote not only the UK canals but also encourage the younger generation to use historic narrowboats.

In time we hope to have our own society working boat to take to narrowboat rallies to promote the use of canals. All members are huge working boat enthusiasts who are keen to teach others the use of traditional techniques when navigating the UK inland waterways.
