By becoming a member of YWBS you will gain access to the members area of the website which will allow you to join the forum and chat to fellow members.

Every three months you will also receieve a copy of the YWBS newsletter containing various news, articles and stories from a number of sources.

The biggest part of YWBS is the social group which it forms, we all try to meet up at all the main canal events as well as attend our own get-togethers, such as the YWBS Christmas event and the summer cruise.

As the group is still in its early stages, any member who joins can give a large contribution and help the direction of YWBS as well as come up with new ideas of how to move the group forward.

The biggest part of YWBS is the education, this is the main reason the club was set up, with the aim of teaching the younger generation of what working boats are and the various techniques associated with it.
