Saturday 19th December:	Young Working Boaters Christmas Get Together! To celebrate the Christmas season the YWBS committee are arranging a party which we hope will become an annual event. This is a members only event, for full details see the forum or email the committee.
3rd - 4th April:	Historic Narrowboat Owners Club Easter Gathering The HNBOC are organising an easter rally at Coventry Basin over the bank holiday weekend, more details to follow.
3rd - 4th April:	Ellesmere Port Gathering The annual easter gathering will still be continuing at Ellesmere Port, with activities such as Boaters Games will be played.
1st - 3rd May:	BCN Tug Gathering The Black Country Living Museum is opening its doors to the Tug Gathering, running in the alternate year to the Boaters Gathering, this bi-annual is a must for all tug owners, or people interested in watching the entertainment caused by towing 'joey' boats around the BCN. 29th - 30th May(?)	BCN 24hr Marathon Challenge The Birmingham Canal Navigations Society are organising a 24hr marathon challenge again this year. This is an excellent, although tiring event, whereby the team who travel around the most of the BCN in the time period and gather the most points win.
26th - 27th June	Braunston Boat Show This well known, annual event is a must for working boat enthusiasts. Record numbers of boats attend and take part in the twice daily parades, this year will be the Grand Union theme.
